Kodak has introduced a new miniature keychain camera, the Charmera. As reported by Notebook Check, this compact device weighs just 30 grams and is priced at an accessible $30. The Charmera is incredibly portable, with dimensions of just 2.3×1×0.8 inches. Its lightweight design makes it easy to attach to a keychain, backpack, or belt. Adding an element of surprise, the camera is available in seven different colors and sold in blind box packaging, meaning buyers won't know which color they've received until they open it.

In terms of imaging specifications, the Charmera features a 1/4-inch sensor that produces photos and videos at a resolution of 1440×1080 (approximately 1.3 megapixels). Videos are recorded at a smooth 30 frames per second and saved in AVI format.

While the resolution is modest by today's standards, the camera leans into a nostalgic aesthetic with seven built-in filters, including black and white, warm tone, cool tone, and a duotone minimalist poster effect. Users can also add one of four different frames and a date stamp to their photos, further enhancing the retro feel.

For framing shots, the device offers both a mini LCD screen and a smaller optical viewfinder, giving users a shooting experience reminiscent of the film camera era. The Charmera is charged via a modern USB-C port and supports microSD cards for storing images and videos, covering all the basic needs for portable photography.
