Realme officially launched its first smartphone with a ten-thousand-milliampere-hour level battery, the Realme P4 Power, in India on January 29th. This device is engineered to shatter expectations for smartphone endurance, packing an unprecedented power source into an affordable package.

The headline feature is its massive 10,001mAh "next-generation silicon-carbon battery." Realme promises this battery will retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 1,650 charge cycles, which is roughly equivalent to eight years of use. On a single full charge, the phone can deliver nearly 12 hours of continuous BGMI (the Indian version of PUBG Mobile) gameplay, over 32 hours of YouTube streaming, or 12 hours of 4K video recording. Remarkably, even with just 5% of power left, users can still make nearly four hours of voice calls.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor. It runs on Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 and comes with a strong software support promise: three years of major OS updates and an additional year of security patches.

To recharge the colossal battery, the Realme P4 Power supports 80W fast charging, which can replenish 50% of the battery in just 36 minutes. It also offers 27W reverse charging, allowing it to function as a power bank for other gadgets. Note that achieving the full 80W charging speed requires a SuperVOOC charger, as standard USB PD PPS chargers are limited to 55W.

Despite its huge battery, Realme has kept the design sleek, with a thickness of 9.08mm and a weight of 219 grams. The phone is also built to last, featuring impressive IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for comprehensive dust and water resistance. The front is dominated by a 6.8-inch quad-curved display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, a 1,280 x 2,800 resolution, and an exceptionally high peak brightness of 6,500 nits.

In the camera department, the P4 Power is equipped with a 50MP main camera using a Sony IMX882 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide camera (112° field of view) and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.
