Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab A11+ with 90Hz Display and MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Chip

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Tab A11+, a new entry-level tablet, in markets including the UK. According to a report from SammyGuru on November 13, this new device serves as a hardware upgrade to the previous Galaxy Tab A11 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset.

The Galaxy Tab A11+ features significant improvements in its display and performance capabilities. It is equipped with an 11-inch LCD screen with a 1920x1200 resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor is paired with configurations offering up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For users needing more space, the tablet also supports capacity expansion via a microSD card.

In terms of battery life, the tablet is powered by a 7040mAh battery and supports 25W wired charging, a notable increase from the 15W charging on the A11 model. One of its most impressive features is its software support. The device comes pre-installed with One UI 8, based on Android 16. Samsung has made a remarkable commitment to longevity, promising seven major Android version updates and seven years of security updates, which means the tablet could potentially be upgraded all the way to Android 23.

For optics and connectivity, the Galaxy Tab A11+ is fitted with an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, suitable for online classes and basic photography. It supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.3, with an optional 5G version available for faster cellular connectivity. Audio is delivered through a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support, and the tablet also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ is currently available for purchase in the UK and Ukraine, with a global rollout expected in the coming weeks. The pricing for the UK market is as follows:
