Samsung Unveils Galaxy Buds3 FE: Bringing AI and ANC to the Masses for $150

Samsung officially announced the launch of its new Galaxy Buds3 FE True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds on August 18th. As the successor to the popular and affordable Fan Edition lineup, these new earbuds pack flagship features like AI integration and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) at an accessible price point of $149.99. The Galaxy Buds3 FE are scheduled to be released in the United States on September 4, 2025.

The Galaxy Buds3 FE introduce a significant design update with a new stem-style look, which brings them closer in appearance to the standard Galaxy Buds3 and Apple's AirPods. This marks a departure from the previous FE models and offers a fresh aesthetic. Consumers will have the choice between two classic color options: black and gray.

On the features front, the Galaxy Buds3 FE are equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and adjustable sound modes, allowing users to switch between an immersive listening experience and an ambient mode to stay aware of their surroundings. Each earbud weighs a mere 5 grams and boasts an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, making them a durable choice for daily commutes and workouts.

Battery life is solid, with each earbud containing a 53mAh battery and the charging case holding a 515mAh capacity. With ANC enabled, the earbuds provide up to 6 hours of playback. This extends to 8.5 hours with ANC turned off. Combined with the charging case, users can expect a total battery life of up to 20 hours.

A major highlight of the Galaxy Buds3 FE is its deep integration with the Galaxy AI ecosystem. This brings a suite of smart features to the earbuds, including real-time voice translation, voice isolation for clearer calls, and seamless switching between connected devices. This focus on intelligent functionality sets them apart in their price category.
