visionOS 2 is not included in the following list, since the only mixed reality device from the brand is the Apple Vision Pro, released in early 2024. Therefore, this is the only product compatible with the new version of the software. Without further ado, check out all the models compatible with the upcoming updates.

iOS 18

iOS 18

iOS 18 is the next generation of the iPhone operating system. It brings improvements for games and new customization options for the home screen — which now allows you to organize apps however you want, in addition to supporting dynamic themes on its icons much like Android's Material You. To the relief of users of older phones, iOS 18 is compatible with all models that were able to update to iOS 17. Therefore, we have:

  • iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus
  • iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max

However, only two phones will be compatible with Apple Intelligence: the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. These are the only models equipped with the A17 Pro processor, which is a requirement to run artificial intelligence functions thanks to its Neural Engine, which handles machine learning tasks.

iPadOS 18

iPadOS 18 introduced similar features to iOS 18, but after more than a decade, the tablet operating system finally gained a calculator app. Much more than being a simple copy of the iPhone version, it brings intelligent functions for algebraic calculations and integration with the Apple Pencil.

iPadOS 18

The new software version marks the end of support for the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, released in 2017, in addition to discontinuing the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation) and the 6th generation iPad. With that, these are the models that support iPadOS 18:

  • iPad Pro with M4 ( 11 and 13 inches )
  • iPad Pro 12.9-inch ( 3rd generation and later)
  • iPad Pro 11-inch ( 1st generation and later)

macOS 15 Sequoia

macOS 15 Sequoia

macOS 15, officially called “Sequoia,” brings some interesting features to Apple computers. One of the highlights is iPhone Mirroring, which lets you mirror your iPhone screen and even control your smartphone from your Mac. There’s also a new feature that lets you quickly adjust windows — just like on Windows. macOS Sequoia is compatible with a variety of Apple devices, including older models that are powered by Intel processors. Here's the list:

  • MacBook Air 2020 (and later)
  • MacBook Pro 2018 (and later)

  • Mac Studio 2022 (and later)

Apple Intelligence will be supported by all Mac models that feature an Apple “M” processor, including the M1, M2, and M3.

watchOS 11

watchOS 11

watchOS 11 features new health features with iPhone integration and the new “Vitals” app, which displays important data in context so users can make more informed decisions throughout their day. watchOS 11 requires an iPhone XS or later running iOS 18. The operating system is compatible with the following Apple Watch models:

  • Apple Watch Series 9
  • Apple Watch Series 8
  • Apple Watch Series 7
  • Apple Watch Series 6
  • Apple Watch Ultra
