Lenovo has significantly updated the design of the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2's back panel. Moving away from the previous generation's rectangular camera island and two-tone textured finish, the new model boasts a cleaner, more minimalist look with a unified smooth surface. The most striking change is the new, large capsule-shaped camera island. While it still appears to house a single camera, the module's significantly larger physical size hints at a potential upgrade in imaging capabilities.

The side profile reveals that the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 adopts a modern flat-edge design, complemented by softly rounded corners for comfortable handling. The device features a total of four speaker grilles, two on each side, which is double the number of cutouts on its predecessor. It remains unclear whether this is a purely aesthetic choice or if it signifies an upgraded quad-speaker system.

In terms of connectivity, the renders show a USB-C port located on the right side of the device. At the bottom, the tablet retains the 3-point POGO magnetic connector, ensuring compatibility with keyboard accessories for enhanced productivity.

The leak also highlights a robust accessory ecosystem. The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 will support a magnetic stylus, which can be conveniently attached to the top edge of the tablet for storage and charging. Additionally, Lenovo is preparing a keyboard case with an integrated trackpad and a separate magnetic folding stand cover. The new tablet is expected to be available in three color options: gray, silver, and green.
