SK hynix announces the development of the fastest DDR5 DRAM memory ever
SK Hynix announced today that it has recently developed the industry's first 32GB UDIMM and SODIMM with DDR5 6400Mbps speed, and provided samples to customers.
UDIMM is a general term for memory modules used in PCs, and SODIMMs are ultra-small memory modules used in PCs. SK hynix said that the DDR5 6400Mbps module product developed by the company is the fastest DDR5 product for PCs and clients, and the speed of 6400Mbps can transfer about 10 full HD movies in 1 second. This product applies a new device called CKD (Clock Driver) to operate more stably during high-speed data processing. SK hynix is the first in the industry to be equipped with CKD, and is the first to provide samples to customer PC SoC (system-on-chip) companies for system evaluation.
