AYN Odin 3 Launches on Indiegogo: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Powerhouse Starting at $299

The highly anticipated AYN Odin 3 handheld has officially launched its crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. Positioned as a large-screen Android gaming device, the Odin 3 is available in four distinct variants, with a suggested retail price starting at an aggressive $299, aiming to deliver flagship performance to the portable gaming market.

At the heart of every Odin 3 model—from the Base to the Ultra version—is the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This processor is built on a 3nm process and features an 8-core architecture paired with the Adreno 830 GPU. According to AYN, this combination is capable of smoothly emulating a wide range of classic home consoles and PC platforms, making it a versatile device for retro and modern gaming alike.

The visual experience is anchored by a stunning 6-inch AMOLED display with a 1920x1080 resolution. The screen boasts a fluid 120Hz high refresh rate, a peak brightness of 650 nits, and an impressive 152% sRGB color gamut coverage, promising vibrant and sharp visuals for all types of content. To power extended gaming sessions, the device is equipped with a large 8000mAh battery that supports up to 60W fast charging.

For precise control, the Odin 3 features full-size Hall effect joysticks and four Hall effect triggers, which offer improved durability and accuracy over traditional components. Both the buttons and joysticks are equipped with adjustable backlighting. Connectivity is top-notch, with support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a USB-C port capable of 4K/60Hz video output, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a TF card slot for storage expansion. The device maintains a portable form factor, weighing just 390 grams and running on the Android 15 operating system.
