Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro Leaks: Certification Reveals Dimensity 8500 Chip and Up to 12GB RAM

New details about the upcoming Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro series have emerged, as the device has recently been spotted in South Korea's RRA certification database. According to a report by tech outlet XpertPick, this certification, along with a pricing leak on an official website, gives us a clearer picture of what to expect from the new smartphone.

The device is listed with the model number 2511FPC34G. This is the same model number previously associated with the Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Limited Edition in Thailand's NBTC database. This suggests that the limited edition will likely be a cosmetic variant of the standard model rather than a device with different internal specifications. The certification filing primarily disclosed the phone's SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) value of 0.863 / 1.6 W/kg, without revealing further core specifications.

In terms of hardware, the Poco X8 Pro is widely expected to be a rebranded version of the REDMI Turbo 5 for the global market. It is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. The display is anticipated to be a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED screen featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, the device is expected to feature a dual-camera setup on the back, comprising a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, along with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
