Logitech G Unveils New Mechanical Keyboards and Mice
Yesterday, Logitech G has just announced its latest addition to the mechanical keyboard lineup, the PRO X TKL RAPID. This new keyboard features magnetic analog key switches, adjustable trigger points, and supports Rapid Trigger technology. The PRO X TKL RAPID is set to hit stores in December, with a domestic price tag of 1,399 yuan (about $202) and an overseas suggested retail price of $169.99. The keyboard will be available in three colors: black, white, and pink.
The PRO X TKL RAPID's design is similar to the PRO X TKL LIGHTSPEED, with the same sleek and modern look. The upper right side of the keyboard features a media control section with a volume wheel and supports a wired connection only, with a report rate of 1000Hz.
The PRO X TKL RAPID keyboard features a unique magnetic analog key switch with a starting weight of 35gf, an adjustable trigger point, and supports Rapid Trigger. The trigger point and rapid trigger value can be adjusted without the need for additional software installation.
Users can also fine-tune key parameters on a key-by-key basis (down to 0.1mm step) through G HUB, and set up multiple trigger assignments and multi-layer commands in detail through the KEY CONTROL function. Additionally, the keyboard supports the SOCD function, which provides better operating accuracy in allowed games.
G915 X Series and two mice also announced
In addition to the PRO X TKL RAPID, Logitech G has also announced an updated version of its popular G915 X series mechanical keyboard. This new keyboard uses mechanical switches and features a familiar design, with media keys and a volume wheel located on the top-right corner.
The Logitech G915 X comes in three variants: a base model with a wired connection, a wireless variant called G915 X Lightspeed, and a TKL variant without the numpad. The prices for these models are $179, $199, and $229 respectively.
To complement the new keyboard, Logitech G has also introduced two new mice: the Pro X Superlight 2 Dex and the Pro 2 Lightspeed. The Pro X Superlight 2 Dex is a high-end gaming mouse that has an 8kHz polling rate, 44k DPI, and 888 IPS acceleration. It weighs just 60g and is designed to compete with other top gaming mice on the market.
The Logitech G Pro 2 Lightspeed is a more conventional gaming mouse that offers a polling rate ceiling of 1kHz and weighs 80g. It can also boost its polling rate up to 8kHz with the help of the Pro Lightspeed receiver. The Pro X Superlight 2 Dex will retail for $159, while the Pro 2 Lightspeed will cost $129.
