It's not yet clear how Samsung will launch the product. The company could send the XR headset only to developers or hold a big launch event to announce the on-sale date. However, the Samsung Developer Conference SDC 2024 is scheduled for October 3, and he may announce more details about this XR headset at that time.

As for the specs

According to the leaked information, Samsung’s headset is expected to feature two 1.03-inch square OLEDoS displays with a resolution of 2,500 x 2,500 pixels, a pixel density of 3,500 ppi, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Samsung's new XR headset is expected to compete with the Apple Vision Pro and have more advanced features. As you may recall, Samsung's first XR headset project was canceled because the Apple Vision Pro was too advanced. With these features, Samsung aims to become a strong player in the extended reality market. The device is expected to open a new era in AR technology.
