Garmin Venu 3 Series Launches with Advanced Sleep Coach and Voice Assistant

Garmin has officially announced the launch of its new Venu 3 series of smart sport watches. The series introduces significant upgrades in health tracking and smart functionality, positioning it as a strong competitor in the premium smartwatch market.

The Venu 3 series is available in two sizes to cater to different wrist preferences: the Venu 3, featuring a 45mm case with a 1.4-inch AMOLED screen, and the more compact Venu 3S, with a 41mm case and a 1.2-inch AMOLED display. Both models boast a premium build with a stainless steel bezel, a fiber-reinforced polymer case, and a durable Corning Gorilla Glass 3 lens. Essential smartwatch features, such as the ability to make and receive calls or view messages directly from the wrist, are also supported.

A major focus of this release is the enhanced battery performance. The larger Venu 3 offers an impressive battery life of up to 14 days in smartwatch mode and up to 26 hours in GPS mode. The Venu 3S is also a strong performer, providing up to 10 days of use in smartwatch mode and up to 21 hours with GPS active. These figures represent a notable improvement over the previous Venu 2 series.

Headlining the new software features is the advanced Sleep Coach. This function tracks and analyzes sleep patterns, providing users with personalized recommendations based on their sleep quality, daily activities, stress levels, and even naps. Complementing this is a new nap detection feature, which can automatically or manually log short rests and offer insights into their benefits. Furthermore, the Venu 3 series now integrates with your phone's voice assistant, allowing you to send messages, check the weather, and perform other tasks with voice commands.

Garmin has also expanded its suite of health and fitness features to be more inclusive. The Venu 3 series introduces a new Wheelchair Mode, designed to track movement data for wheelchair users and provide specialized training plans. The watch comes pre-loaded with over 30 sports modes, including running, swimming, cycling, and yoga, ensuring comprehensive activity tracking. Standard Garmin features like Garmin Pay for contactless payments and onboard music storage are also included.
