Keychron Unveils V Ultra 8K Series: 8000Hz Polling Rate and 660-Hour Battery Life

Keychron officially launched its new V Ultra 8K series of tri-mode mechanical keyboards on January 23rd. The series includes three layouts to suit different user needs: the V1 (75%), the V3 (80%), and the V5 (100%). The pricing is set at $114.99 for the V1 and V3 models, and $119.99 for the full-sized V5 model.

A standout feature of the V Ultra 8K series is its impressive performance, powered by ZMK firmware. These keyboards support tri-mode connectivity (wired, Bluetooth, 2.4GHz) and boast an exceptional wireless working endurance of up to 660 hours on a single charge. The keyboards feature a durable plastic body with an internal Gasket mount design, which provides a flexible and comfortable typing experience.

For enthusiasts and gamers, the V Ultra 8K series delivers an ultra-responsive 8000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes, ensuring minimal input lag. The keyboards are equipped with a 4000mAh battery. Externally, they feature a convenient rotary knob and two-stage adjustable feet for ergonomic comfort. Internally, a five-layer acoustic dampening system is included to create a more refined and pleasant typing sound.

Customization is a key aspect of the series. The keyboards come with Keychron's Silk POM series mechanical switches and feature a hot-swappable PCB, allowing users to easily change switches without soldering. They are also fitted with high-quality OSA profile PBT double-shot keycaps and support south-facing RGB backlighting for a vibrant and customizable aesthetic.
