Other World Computing (OWC) has officially announced the launch of its new OWC Thunderbolt 5 Dual 10GbE Network Dock. This powerful device is engineered to deliver exceptional network performance, offering robust support for compatible devices that demand high-speed, reliable connectivity.

The standout feature of this dock is its ability to achieve a staggering 20Gbps wired connection through link aggregation. By combining two 10GbE RJ45 ports, the dock provides unprecedented network speeds, making it an ideal solution for creative professionals, data-intensive workflows, and high-performance computing environments.

Constructed with a passively cooled aluminum alloy body for silent and efficient heat dissipation, the OWC Thunderbolt 5 dock is packed with a comprehensive array of ports. It features one upstream Thunderbolt 5 port, three downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports, one 10Gbps USB-C port, and three 10Gbps USB-A ports. For networking, it includes two 10GbE RJ45 ports and one 2.5GbE RJ45 port, all powered by a 19V DC input.

Under the hood, the dock's high-speed 10GbE network ports are powered by Marvell AQC113 wired network card chips, while the 2.5GbE port utilizes a Realtek RTL8156B chip. Additionally, all USB-C ports are compatible with OWC's ClingOn cable stabilizers to ensure secure connections and prevent accidental disconnections.
