Oukitel Brings a 16,000mAh Rugged Phone, a Dual-Fan Gaming Model, and a Built-In Igniter to IFA 2026
Oukitel is bringing one of the strangest rugged phone lineups to IFA 2026.
Instead of launching a single all-purpose handset, the brand is showing three very different rugged phones: the WP70 Ultra, which focuses on battery life and thermal imaging; the WP600, which leans into gaming performance and active cooling; and the WP63, which adds a built-in igniter for outdoor use.
That mix makes Oukitel’s booth less about one flagship and more about how far rugged phones can stretch beyond the usual “big battery, thick shell” formula.
WP70 Ultra: 16,000mAh Battery in a Slimmer Body
The WP70 Ultra is the most mainstream-looking of the three, at least by rugged phone standards. Oukitel says it is the thinnest phone currently using a 16,000mAh battery, and the company uses a silicon-carbon battery to keep the body relatively slim.
The phone also includes 66W fast charging, a 6.78-inch 120Hz OLED display, and a Dimensity 7200 chip. On the back, it carries a 108MP main camera, a 64MP night vision camera, and a thermal imaging sensor for heat detection and inspection tasks.
That makes the WP70 Ultra the most balanced model in the lineup. It is still a rugged device, but one that seems aimed at users who want long battery life without carrying a brick.
WP600: A Rugged Phone That Tries to Game
The WP600 goes in a much louder direction.
Oukitel describes it as a rugged gaming phone with dual active-cooling fans, a cyber-futuristic design, and RGB lighting. Under the hood, it uses a Dimensity 8300 chip, up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
It also comes with a 6.8-inch 1080p+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 10,000mAh battery, and 45W charging. For durability, Oukitel says it meets IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H standards.
The WP600 stands out because it treats ruggedness and gaming as equally important. Most rugged phones stop at durability and battery life. This one adds cooling, faster storage, and a more aggressive design language.
WP63: Built-In Igniter for Outdoor Use
The most unusual phone in the lineup is the WP63.
Oukitel says it is the world’s first rugged phone with a built-in electric igniter. The idea is clearly aimed at campers and outdoor users who may want a phone that can also help start a fire.
Alongside the igniter, the WP63 includes a 20,000mAh battery, a camping light, and a high-power speaker. It supports 33W charging and 18W reverse charging, so it can also act as a power bank for other devices.
This is not a subtle product, and that is the point. The WP63 is less about polished everyday smartphone behavior and more about building utility into the body of the phone itself.
