Nothing Ear and Ear (a) Official With ChatGPT Integration
The young transparent brand “ Nothing ” has released wireless headphones Ear and Ear (a) in its signature style - transparent. The new products can only be different by the color of the case and the headphones themselves - in terms of design, they are identical. Besides, both models offer Hi-Res audio with LDAC, ANC, low latency mode, and multipoint. The company has also announced that it will integrate ChatGPT more closely into its smartphones and earphones.
Price and availability
The Nothing Ear is available in black and white for 149 euros, while the Nothing Ear (a) is also available in a striking yellow color variant for 99 euros.
The new TWS headphones will first be available for sale on nothing.tech from April 22nd, but pre-orders for these new products are already being accepted.
Nothing Ear and Ear (a) Features
The Nothing Ear earphones follow the path already followed by the previous Ears (2), maintaining the iconic transparent design and promising a superior audio experience. Featuring a custom 11mm dynamic driver for powerful, clear sound, they support advanced codecs such as LHDC 5.0 and LDAC for high-resolution Bluetooth streaming.
The Advanced Equalizer allows for audio customization via the Nothing X app. Active noise cancellation (ANC) is enhanced with Smart ANC and Adaptive ANC, providing up to 45 dB of noise reduction. Battery life is increased by 25% compared to Ear (2), with 40.5 hours overall using the charging case. Clear Voice technology and Dual Connection connectivity further improve performance, ensuring non-stop use.
As for the Nothing Ear (a), these are earphones designed for everyday use and stand out for their attractive design and powerful audio features. They feature a new domed design and the brand's distinctive yellow color. Equipped with advanced active noise cancellation (ANC), they use the Smart ANC algorithm to optimize the sound and effectively reduce surrounding noise by up to 45 dB.
Exceptional performance thanks to the new driver with improved bass performance and Hi-Res Audio certification, supporting high-resolution Bluetooth streaming. The battery offers up to 42.5 hours of playback with the case and fast charging allows for 10 hours of listening in just ten minutes of charge. Dual Connection connectivity and Low Lag mode improve the user experience, while touch controls allow immediate control.
There's no shortage of surprises: Nothing integrates ChatGPT into the earphones and the Nothing OS operating system, giving users instant access to artificial intelligence. With pinch-to-speak, users can interact with ChatGPT directly from their headsets and the operating system incorporates access points to the service.
In addition, ChatGPT support will also be available soon for the Ear (1), Ear (2), and Ear (stick), and will appear in CMF products, a sub-brand of Nothing, by June.
