UBTECH Unveils the Full-Size Industrial Humanoid Robot Walker S2: Standing 1.76 Meters Tall and Capable of 24/7 Operation
On July 23rd, UBTECH Robotics announced the launch of its latest innovation, the Walker S2, a full-size industrial humanoid robot designed specifically for intelligent manufacturing scenarios. This new robot is equipped with the upgraded BrainNet 2.0 and the company's proprietary Co-Agent technology, making it a powerful tool for industrial applications.

Key Features of Walker S2
1. Humanoid Design and Mobility
Walker S2 stands at an impressive height of 1.76 meters and is capable of mimicking human-like walking and fine motor operations. It integrates the fourth-generation industrial-grade dexterous hands and bionic arms. The dexterous hands are designed with human-like dimensions and can perform sub-millimeter precision operations, with durability tested to exceed 80,000 cycles. The bionic arms feature a hollow structure and integrated wiring, enabling complex actions such as autonomous battery swapping.

2. Advanced Vision and Manipulation
Walker S2 is the first in China to adopt a pure RGB dual-camera vision system in its head, enhancing the robot's ability to adapt to factory environments through human-like binocular stereoscopic vision. With 52 degrees of freedom in its bionic body and fourth-generation dexterous hands, it can handle a load of up to 15 kilograms within a full spatial range of 0-1.8 meters and achieve a ±162° rotation of the waist.
3. Autonomous Battery Swapping
One of the most groundbreaking features of Walker S2 is its ability to operate continuously for 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is made possible through its autonomous battery swapping technology, which includes dual-battery simultaneous charging and discharging, standardized battery bay quick swapping, and coordinated dual-arm precise battery swapping.
4. Intelligent Co-Agent System
Walker S2 is powered by UBTECH's self-developed Co-Agent system, which integrates multimodal reasoning models, embodied interaction models, skill-specific models, and human-like thinking chain technology. This system endows Walker S2 with the ability to understand intentions, plan tasks, call tools, and handle exceptions autonomously. The system is continuously optimized using billions of data points accumulated from industrial training.
5. High-Power, High-Torque Waist Joints
Walker S2 features high-power, high-torque waist joints and dynamic balance algorithms, allowing it to stably transport a 15-kilogram load within the full spatial range of 0-1.8 meters. It can also perform challenging tasks, such as touching the ground, squatting to its limits, and grasping objects over long distances.

Conclusion
The introduction of Walker S2 marks a significant step forward in the field of industrial humanoid robots. Its combination of advanced mobility, dexterous manipulation, autonomous battery swapping, and intelligent decision-making capabilities makes it a highly versatile and efficient solution for modern manufacturing environments. UBTECH's commitment to innovation and practical application is evident in the design and functionality of Walker S2, setting a new standard for industrial robotics.
