Anbernic RG Cube Presented: A Compact Gaming Console With Android 13
Playing games on a smartphone isn't always the best experience. That's why Anbernic, the manufacturer known for its retro console emulation devices, has officially presented its new game console RG Cube. The device is made in the form factor of a portable game console (PC) and is designed to run classic video games.

Specifications
The Anbernic RG Cube received a 3.95-inch IPS screen with an aspect ratio of 1:1 and a resolution of 720x720 pixels. The screen is highly clear and bright thanks to OCA full lamination technology. The touch screen adds convenience to control and navigation.
Under the hood, the novelty is powered by an eight-core Unisoc T820 chipset, which is built on a 6nm process technology and includes a Mali-G57 MP4 GPU clocked at 850 MHz. The processor unit contains ARM Cortex-A55 and Cortex-A76 cores, divided into two clusters of four cores each, which ensures high performance and energy efficiency of the device.
It also talks about 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a built-in 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, which ensures smooth operation and fast loading of games and applications. Additionally, the storage can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.
According to the manufacturer, the power of the hardware used is enough to emulate Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 64, GameCube and PlayStation 2. It also supports Android games and the ability to stream video games from PC, Playstation and Xbox.
Two analog sticks, a crosshair, four action buttons and four shoulder buttons are used to control games. The console also has a built-in speaker, a headphone jack, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
The battery is 5200mAh and the company promises up to 7 hours of play, with a new active cooling system. In addition, the RG Cube runs Android 13 operating system and supports modern wireless technologies, including Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. This sets it apart from some other retro handheld gaming devices.
The new product is presented in three colors: white, pink and beige with red accents. The sales start date and price of the portable console will be announced later.
