RedMagic 10 Pro Passed by MIIT, Expected to Launch Soon With Snapdragon 8 Elite

RedMagic 10 Pro MIIT Certification

Last month, the RedMagic 10 Pro and 10S Pro surfaced on the IMEI database. Unfortunately, the homologation did not bring any relevant details regarding the duo's specifications. Now, this Smartphone of RedMagic has been certified by the Chinese authority MIIT and has had several details revealed, such as a possible launch in November with the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite platform.

The device, with model number NX789J, is almost certainly the successor to last year's RedMagic 9 Pro, which had the model number NX769J. However, the MIIT has not disclosed any details about the 10 Pro. But, this inspection is good evidence that the smartphone will be launched soon in China, and it is highly possible that it will be launched within this month.

And since this series will focus primarily on gaming, it is highly likely that this model will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, Qualcomm's upcoming flagship chip, just like other flagships such as the Xiaomi 15 series, OnePlus 13, Honor Magic 7 series, iQOO 13, and Realme GT 7 Pro, etc.

As previously reported, the RedMagic 10 Pro is expected to feature a dedicated gaming chipset separate from the main chip, along with an active cooling system and dedicated gaming buttons. Another important feature is that it will feature a very large battery capacity, rumored to be as large as 6,500mAh, and it is likely to be the first smartphone to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with such a large battery capacity.

Other specs, according to the report, will come with an OLED full-screen display with a resolution of 1.5K, support for an under-screen camera for the front camera, and this model is reported to come with a significant upgrade from the RedMagic 9 Pro.

The previous model had the following rough specs: a 6.8-inch BOE Q9 + screen, a 5th generation under-display full gaming screen, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 ROM, a 6,500mAh battery, 80W charging, and a separate gaming chip, the Red Core R2 Pro, developed by the company itself, and an alloy fan for cooling.
