RedMagic Gaming Tablet to Feature SD 8 Gen 3 Leading Version Chip
RedMagic, has announced a launch event scheduled for 15:00 (local time) on September 5 in China. At this event, the new RedMagic tablet, designed specifically for gamers, will be unveiled. To generate excitement for the new device, the company has begun releasing teasers, which have revealed some impressive specifications for the tablet.
The company's first teaser revealed that the tablet will be powered by the world's first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chip, which was previously seen in the RedMagic 9S Pro smartphone. The company claims that the device can deliver a stable 59.9 frames per second in the popular game Honkai: Star Rail for three hours of continuous gameplay.
Besides, the device has achieved an impressive score of 2,352,902 points in AnTuTu benchmarks, which is close to the record set by the aforementioned RedMagic 9S Pro, which has an advantage in the form of an active cooling system with a turbine.
The tablet is expected to feature a 2.8K LCD display, rather than an AMOLED screen, which will provide an immersive gaming experience. Furthermore, Geekbench listings have revealed that Nubia will be launching two new devices with model numbers NP02J and NP03J.
The listings show that the devices scored 2060 and 2268 points in single-core tests, and 5675 and 7120 points in multi-core tests, respectively. The tablets will be powered by an octa-core SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 with Redmagic OS9.0.16_NP02J and Redmagic OS9.0.16_NP03J software versions.
The devices will have a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz and 3.40GHz, paired with Adreno 740 and Adreno 750 GPUs, respectively.
Although no other details about the tablets have been released, Nubia will be introducing the RedMagic Gaming Tablet in China next week. The devices will likely be available in international markets soon after the Chinese launch.
