Street Fighter 6 Open Beta Set to Begin On May 19
Capcom has revealed that an open beta for Street Fighter 6 will take place from May 19-21, featuring the same content as the closed beta held in December 2022. The game will receive further character balancing updates before its release.

Players will need to register a Capcom ID and link their desired platform, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The available playable characters include Luke, Jamie, Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken, while the available stages include Metro City Downtown, Genbu Temple, Carrier Byron Taylor, Tian Hong Yuan, Macho Ring, and Training Room.
Players will have access to various online modes, including ranked matches, casual matches, open tournaments, and more. Cross-play functionality will enable players on different platforms to enjoy the game together.
Following its launch on June 2, Street Fighter 6 will continue to receive support with new DLC characters. Rashid from Street Fighter 5 will be the first to join in the summer, followed by newcomer A.K.I. in November. Ed from Street Fighter 4 and Akuma from Street Fighter II Turbo will be added in Winter 2024 and Spring 2024, respectively.
