CMF Buds 2 Plus Spotted On FCC - Key Specifications Revealed

Nothing's sub-brand, CMF, may soon launch a new TWS headset, the Buds 2 Plus. So far, the manufacturer has in its catalog devices such as the CMF Buds Pro, CMF Buds, and Buds Pro 2.
Now, the CMF Buds 2 Plus has been certified by the regulatory authority FCC, which revealed its design, battery, and other features. It is not clear whether the headset will arrive as a successor to the original CMF Buds, launched in March 2024, but the documentation indicates interesting upgrades with a familiar visual identity.
CMF Buds 2 Plus Details
The CMF Buds 2 Plus has been certified with code B184 and features a square case with a rotating dial, just like the CMF Buds Pro 2. This dial is expected to be called “Smart Dial” and will allow users to adjust volume, control playback, and customize their settings, offering more functionality than the original CMF Buds.

As is tradition, the case will also feature the inscription “CMF by Nothing” on the bottom right section. In terms of dimensions, the case measures 73 mm x 64 mm and weighs 105 grams. For power, there is a 460mAh battery unit, while each earbud has 53mAh.

The CMF Buds 2 Plus case supports 3W and 1.2W output, which means each earbud charges at 0.6W. Additionally, the device will come with support for Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity technology that offers continuous connection. Unfortunately, these are the only details revealed about the CMF Buds 2 Plus. The earbuds are expected to launch with the Nothing Phone (3a) lineup on March 4.
