OPPO Find X8 Ultra Revealed With Super "Strange" Camera Cluster Design
The recently leaked OPPO Find X8 Ultra images have attracted attention thanks to its unique camera cluster design. Many people were surprised by the circular camera module with large metal edges and an asymmetrical layout. However, it is still unclear whether this is the final design of the product or just a camouflage shell to hide the real appearance before the official launch.
Strange design but may not be official yet
In the leaked photo, OPPO Find X8 Ultra has a giant camera cluster that takes up most of the back surface. This camera cluster has a two-tone color with a shiny metal border that creates a prominent effect. Based on previous information, this module may include a 50MP LYT-900 main camera, a 50MP Sony IMX882 ultra-wide camera, a 50MP IMX906 telephoto camera (3x optical zoom), and a 50MP IMX882 periscope camera (6x optical zoom).
While the design is impressive, many sources believe that this is just a test version or a special protective case to distract from leaks about the real design. Some phone manufacturers, including OPPO, often use this method to avoid revealing the final appearance before the official launch date.
Focuses on night photography
Previously, Zhou Yibao, product manager of the OPPO Find series, shared on Weibo that the Find X8 Ultra will greatly improve low-light photography. According to him, night photography has always been one of the biggest challenges in the mobile industry. OPPO has improved this on the Find X6 Pro by using a large sensor. However, with the Find X8 Ultra, OPPO wants to go further by increasing light absorption and improving color accuracy in low-light conditions.
Launched in March, could support satellite communications
The Find X8 Ultra has received radio certification in China, suggesting that its launch date is not far away. In addition to the standard version, OPPO may also launch a variant that supports satellite communications, with the PKU110 model certified alongside the standard PKJ110 version.
With the current leak of information and images, Find X8 Ultra could become one of OPPO's most prominent flagships in 2025. However, to confirm the final design and actual features, users still need to wait for the official launch event in March.
