Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro to Feature 50MP Leica Telephoto Camera and 90W Charging

The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro was leaked in December with many powerful specs and a competitive price tag. Recently, an X user Kartikey Singh said that the lineup will launch in April with Leica cameras, a premium metal and glass design, and a Snapdragon 8s Eite chip.

New leaked details

A well-known leaker revealed some specifications for the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, which has now been found in the HyperOS database, confirming its advanced stage of development. The device carries two numbers, one exclusively Chinese (25067PYE3C) and another Indian (25067PYE3I), but sources indicate that the cell phone will be sold globally under the name Xiaomi 15 Civi.

In terms of specifications revealed by sources working at the Chinese company, there is the presence of cameras certified by Leica. The main highlight is the 50MP telephoto sensor, which should also offer optical image stabilization (OIS).

The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro should still offer a 6.55-inch curved OLED screen and this panel will have a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The device is also expected to feature a 6,000mAh battery, support for up to 90W fast charging, and a metal build with a glass back finish.

Among what is already known about the new device, we have that the device comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, the operating system will be Android 15 and there are chances that this device will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, which goes by the model number SM8735.  In terms of price, the informant explains that the device should hit the market costing 3,000 Yuan (about $410).
