8BitDo Retro 108 Mechanical Keyboard Is Available For $119.99
The 8BitDo brand range has been expanded with a new mechanical keyboard, the Retro 108, which is now available for $119.99 via 8BitDo’s website. The Super Buttons are also available to add on for around $30 each. Shipments are expected to begin on December 15.
Mechanical Keyboard with Super Buttons
Its design is similar to the Retro Mechanical Keyboard. The main change is that are now 108 keys on board and a numeric keypad.
8BitDo Retro 108 Mechanical Keyboard is available in two designs: NES or Famicom. Buyers of such a board will find Kailh Box White V2 mechanical switches with hot-swappable functionality under the PBT keycaps. There are several additional keys and two controls on the upper left side of the body.
The kit still includes a block with two large buttons that can be programmed at your discretion. It offers options in red, green, blue, and yellow. Besides, there are 3 free "super jacks" that can be used to connect 8Bitdo's super joysticks, super ABXY keys, and other supporting equipment.
The keyboard is compatible with devices running Windows and Android. You can connect via Bluetooth, a 2.4 GHz dongle, or a wire. The device is configured using the proprietary 8BitDo Ultimate software. In addition, it has a built-in 2000mAh lithium-ion battery with a battery life of up to 100 hours.
