HTC Wildfire E2 Play Suddenly Launched In the Global Market
HTC recently announced a new smartphone with the technical characteristics of a budget device - HTC Wildfire E3 Lite. Now the company is back with a slightly more premium model, called the Wildfire E2 Play, in the global market. HTC Wildfire E2 Play has a large 6.82-inch screen and it is a panel with a teardrop notch for the selfie camera. The display offers an image in HD+ quality (720 x 1640 pixels), and the contrast is 1500: 1. It is also worth mentioning the maximum brightness of 450 nits. More parameters not disclosed. It has the following dimensions – 174.2 x 78.6 x 9.3mm. It weighs 210 grams.
The heart of the HTC Wildfire E2 Play smartphone is the Spreadtrum T606 processor. It is a fairly simple unit consisting of two Cortex-A75 CPU cores and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores that work at 1.6 GHz. The ARM G57 GPU is responsible for graphical calculations. The SoC is supported in the phone by 8GB of RAM. On the other hand, there is 128GB of space for data, which can be expanded using a microSD card with a capacity of up to 256GB.
In terms of optics, the camera of the HTC Wildfire E2 Play smartphone consists of four lenses. The main one was combined with a 48MP sensor. Then we have an ultra wide-angle working with a 5MP matrix. The other two are the depth sensor and the macro camera with 2MP sensors. The front camera will allow you to take selfies in the quality of up to 8MP.
The battery of the HTC Wildfire E2 Play model has a capacity of 4600mAh. The battery supports charging only with a 10W charger. The manufacturer declares up to 11 hours of video playback or 10 hours of internet browsing on a single charge. It comes preloaded with Android 12 OS.
The device comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI-powered face unlock for added security. Additionally, it offers a host of other features including dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, a convenient USB-C port, and a classic 3.5mm audio jack for versatile connectivity options.
Price and availability
The price of HTC Widlfire E2 Play has not yet been announced by the manufacturer. We know that only one hardware configuration of the phone will be available for sale. The smartphone will be available in two housing colors - black and blue.
