Nubia Z50 Ultra Launching On March 7

On March 7th, the Nubia Z50 Ultra with Neovision UDC display will be launched. This highly anticipated smartphone boasts a bezel-less design and a revolutionary hidden camera that is located under the display.

Nubia has claimed that this new device is the most "Ultra" phone on the market and has been refined over a period of 6 years to deliver an immersive full-screen experience to its users.

Based on the official images, the phone is equipped with a rectangular screen that doesn’t have any cut for the front camera. The device features a 6.8-inch flat OLED display produced by BOE, which supports a 1440Hz PWM. Additionally, the display has a sub-screen front camera with a 16-megapixel resolution, 2.24µm pixel size, and an F/2.0 aperture.

Moreover, the Neovision UDC full-screen display is one of the key features of the Nubia Z50 Ultra, and it comes equipped with fourth-generation off-screen camera technology. This allows the phone to have a hidden camera that is seamlessly integrated into the screen, giving the phone a modern and stylish appearance.

In addition to the clear selfies and video calls, this breakthrough technology also enhances the phone's security features, particularly with its advanced face recognition certification.

Other Specifications

The recently leaked information reveals that the Nubia Z50 Ultra, expected to be a high-end device, will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and a 5000mAh battery. Its rear camera will likely be equipped with a periscope, while the camera under the display will probably be supplied by BOE, the same provider as the Red Magic 8 Pro.

These are the only known specifications of the Nubia Z50 Ultra at present, but it is expected to offer a wide range of features suitable for a top-of-the-line smartphone. Unfortunately, this phone may only be released in China, just like its predecessors.

The company plans to introduce the new phone on March 7th, so we will have to wait and see what else we can learn.
