Apple's Colorful Strategy: New Colors Leaked for Beats Studio Pro, Solo 4, and Solo Buds

According to a report from MacRumors, newly discovered code suggests that Apple is preparing to update its Beats headphone lineup with a fresh palette of colors. The refresh is expected to include three popular models: the Beats Studio Pro, Solo 4, and Solo Buds, each receiving new and stylish options.

For the premium Beats Studio Pro, the code indicates the addition of two new colors: "Dark Slate" and "Pink." It's speculated that these internal names may correspond to the previously rumored "Sand Gray" and "Soft Pink" market names, offering users more sophisticated and subtle choices.

The Beats Solo 4 on-ear headphones are also set for an update, with "Rose Gold" and "Champagne Gold" expected to join the existing color lineup. These metallic finishes have been popular across other Apple products and will likely add a touch of luxury to the Solo 4 series.

Meanwhile, the entry-level Beats Solo Buds will receive a new color called "Icing." Leaked images reveal this to be a yellowish-beige tone, offering a fresh and clean aesthetic that may be specifically designed to appeal to a younger consumer base.

The credibility of this leak is strengthened by Apple's known practice of using different internal code names for its colors compared to the final market names. For example, the iPhone 15 Pro's "Natural Titanium" was internally codenamed "Titanium Gray." This upcoming color refresh for the Beats line appears to be a strategic move by Apple to maintain product appeal and cater to diverse consumer preferences through aesthetics.
