Xiaomi Shows Us the First Images of 15S Pro

In addition to announcing its new Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra along with its spectacular 14-inch OLED screen, Xiaomi has shown the first official images of the Xiaomi 15S Pro. This new smartphone, which will also be officially presented on May 22, will be the first to equip the XRING O1 and will have a design very similar to the Xiaomi 15 Pro.

In addition to the image that we can see on the cover, officially published by Xiaomi, one of Xiaomi's executives has been seen in a video showing the rear design of the Xiaomi 15S Pro. This will have practically the same design lines as the Xiaomi 15 Pro, differing in its finish and in the design of the LED flash.

The Xiaomi 15S Pro will feature a carbon fiber finish and will also use a Leica camera setup, which suggests that virtually all of its features will be those of a flagship. Generally speaking, it wouldn't be surprising if it shares the same features as the Xiaomi 15 Pro, except for its processor.

The Xiaomi 15S Pro will become the first smartphone, probably of many, to be equipped with the XRING O1, a self-developed 3nm processor that is capable of outperforming other greats such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. According to Geekbench, the Xring O1 uses a deca-core architecture and an Immortalis-G925 GPU. Benchmark results are 3119 points in the single-core test and 9673 in the multi-core test, which places it among the most powerful mobile chips today.

According to available information, the device will retain the design and display specifications of the Xiaomi 15 Pro, including a 6.73-inch 2K LTPO display with quad-curved edges and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the display.

The device is expected to feature a 6,100mAh battery, with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The camera system will reportedly include three 50MP sensors, including a 10x periscope telephoto camera.

For now, this is all we know about the Xiaomi 15S Pro, which is quite a bit. The rest of the features will be confirmed on May 22 at its official launch in China. Now we just need to know if Xiaomi will launch this new smartphone equipped with the XRING O1 in Europe and Latin America.
