CMF Unveils Launch Date For Phone 2 Pro and Buds 2 Series
CMF by Nothing has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated smartphone and new line of true wireless earbuds. The CMF Phone 2 Pro, along with the CMF Buds 2 Plus, CMF Buds 2, and CMF Buds 2a, will be unveiled later this month. Here’s what we know.
In their latest teaser, the company confirmed that the mid-range smartphone and TWS earbuds will be revealed on April 28, 2025. This marks CMF's second smartphone release following the CMF Phone 1, which was introduced in 2023. Along with the launch date announcement, a teaser image has revealed the camera configuration on the rear of the phone, which features three sensors and an LED flash.
Last month, Reddit user PanickCat shared a photo of the device, which indicated that the CMF Phone 2 would feature a new textured back with a tactile finish. The close-up of the device highlighting its sleek finish and a metallic screw in one corner. While mock-up images have circulated, they remain unconfirmed at this stage. Based on current information, the CMF Phone 2 may feature a MediaTek Dimensity chip and a compact 6.3-inch display.
In addition to the smartphone, CMF will unveil the CMF Buds 2, CMF Buds 2 Plus, and CMF Buds 2a, successors to the original CMF Buds. These new models are expected to arrive at various price points. Earlier this year, in February 2025, details about the Buds Plus model were revealed through the FCC database, highlighting its design, dimensions, battery capacity (53 mAh for the earbuds, 460 mAh for the charging case), and charging speeds (3W).
