UBTech Lands Record 250M Deal for Walker S2 Humanoids

The humanoid robotics race just hit a new milestone. On September 3, UBTech Robotics announced a 250 million procurement contract for its Walker S2 humanoid robots—the largest-ever single order in the global humanoid robotics industry. Deliveries are set to begin later this year.

Walker S2: Built for 24/7 Work

Unveiled in July, the Walker S2 is UBTech’s latest industrial humanoid. Its standout feature is a hot-swappable autonomous battery system, enabling continuous operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Tiangong Walker, powered by the “Hui Si Kai Wu” intelligence platform, comes in basic, mid-range, and high-end versions—most orders so far are for the higher-tier builds.

Market Momentum

UBTech reports:

  • Nearly 400M in Walker contracts signed to date

  • 50M worth of deliveries in the first half of 2025

  • Goal: 500 humanoids delivered by end of 2025, with annual capacity exceeding 1,000 units
