TECNO Brings a 0mm-Bezel Concept Phone and a 360° Hinge Laptop to IFA 2026
TECNO is using IFA 2026 to show off two of its most attention-grabbing ideas yet: a concept phone with a true 0mm display border and the new MEGABOOK T15 360 laptop series with a 360-degree hinge.
The concept phone is all about pushing smartphone design past the last visible edge of the display. TECNO says it removes the black border that normally remains between the active panel and the outer frame, creating a more immersive full-screen look. It is still a concept, but it clearly shows where the brand wants smartphone design to go next.
A Phone That Tries to Erase the Bezel
TECNO’s Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone is built around the idea of a true 0mm screen border. In practice, that means the display appears to run right up to the frame without the usual 1mm to 2mm black margin left on most phones.
TECNO says it achieved this through internal stacking changes, structural redesign, and new screen packaging. That sounds like pure engineering theater at first, but the goal is straightforward: make the screen feel less interrupted and more immersive.
The company is showing the phone in person at IFA ShowStoppers 2026, which means this is not just a render on a slide deck. Still, it remains a concept device, so the usual questions apply: how durable is it, how expensive would it be to build, and how much real-world tradeoff would it require?
TECNO’s 360° Laptop Is Meant to Be More Practical
The other big piece of the showcase is the MEGABOOK T15 360 Series, TECNO’s first laptop family with a 360-degree hinge and touch input.
The lineup includes two models: the MEGABOOK T15 360 and the MEGABOOK T15 360 Pro. Both use a full-metal body with CNC machining, and both can switch between laptop, tablet, tent, and stand modes.
The standard T15 360 uses a 15.6-inch Full HD 60Hz touch display, while the Pro version steps up to a 15.6-inch 2.5K 120Hz panel with 100% sRGB coverage and 350 nits of typical brightness. Both models also support an optional MPP 2.0 active pen.
Built for Flexible Everyday Use
TECNO says the T15 360 series can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, LPDDR5X memory at up to 7467 MT/s, and PCIe M.2 2280 SSD storage.
Both laptops also include a 70Wh battery, a 65W PD GaN charger, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.4. Practical extras include a backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad, a fingerprint reader built into the power button, dual speakers, and dual digital microphones.
That puts the T15 360 series squarely in the category of convertible productivity laptops. It is not trying to be a flashy creator machine or a gaming device. It is trying to be flexible enough for work, notes, presentations, and casual use without forcing users to carry two devices.
