Apple MacOS Sonoma 14.2 Beta

Apple today rolled out the third beta of the upcoming macOS Sonoma 14.2 update to developers for testing purposes. It is known that this software appeared less than a week after "Apple" released the first beta version of macOS Sonoma 14.2.

Currently, registered developers can opt in to the beta through the Software Update section of the System Settings app. In the Beta updates section, enable Sonoma Developer Beta. Note that an Apple ID linked to an Apple Developer account is required to download the beta. Unfortunately, Apple didn't share what new features it brought to macOS Sonoma 14.2 beta 3. In all likelihood, this update focuses on fixing outstanding bugs and improving performance Old Macs.

Reportedly, macOS Sonoma‌ 14.2 adds Apple Music Favorites playlists containing everything you love, and Apple has added support for collaborative playlists. You can now share playlists with multiple people, and each participant can add songs.

That's not all, stickers can now be used to reply to iMessages when you long press on the chat bubble in the Messages app, and there's also now support for the ultra-secure iMessage Contact Key Verification option.
