Apple Releases watchOS 27 Developer Beta 4 with Siri AI and Integrated Find My App

Apple has seeded the fourth developer beta of watchOS 27 (build number 24R5325h) to Apple Watch users, with the update arriving two weeks after the previous release. This version continues to build upon the significant new features announced for the next generation of Apple Watch software.

Developers can download the beta through the Watch app on a paired iPhone, provided they have a free developer account. The installation requires the Apple Watch to be on its charger, connected to Wi-Fi, and have at least a 50% charge. This beta supports all watchOS 27-compatible models, with the exception of the Apple Watch Ultra 3.

A major highlight of watchOS 27 is the introduction of Siri AI, which enables more natural, back-and-forth conversations. Siri can now access both general knowledge and personal data to answer questions and find information more effectively. Utilizing Siri AI on the Apple Watch requires a paired iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, such as the iPhone 15 Pro and newer models.

The user interface receives several upgrades, including a new Dynamic App Grid that highlights Siri-suggested apps and a more intuitive Smart Stack. Users can now find their parked car, view pinned messages, receive noise alerts, and access ID and transit cards directly from the stack. The system also features an updated Liquid Glass interface for enhanced readability and includes multiple performance optimizations to improve battery life.

This beta also introduces a new, all-in-one Find My app that supports Precision Finding. Furthermore, the Fitness Companion app is now more independent, able to work even when an iPhone is not nearby, and it gains new metrics like tracking progressive increases in distance, pace, or duration.
