iPhone 17 Lineup’s Design Leaked In Two Colors With Mockups
The new looks for the iPhone 17 line have already been leaked in Apple documents, and now tipster @SonnyDickson from X has published images of mockups (non-functional models) indicating what each of the new iPhones should look like in black and white.
The first image shows the devices in black. From left to right, we have the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air (Slim), iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max (Ultra).
The difference can be noticed by the camera module, as the iPhone 17 should maintain the same look as the iPhone 16, while the iPhone 17 Air should have only one camera with an ultra-thin design, and the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will have a triple camera, differing only in size.
The image with the white mockups shows the phones in reverse order, starting with the iPhone 17 Pro Max and ending with the standard iPhone 17. It also shows that the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro will be the same size, while the iPhone 17 Air will be slightly larger but still smaller than the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Please note that the mockups are made of plastic, which means that the final appearance of the devices will be different, as they are expected to feature an aluminum and glass finish.
On the other hand, Majin Bu added similar photos also showing the front of the smartphones (although this one is not supposed to hide any special surprises) and a mockup of the iPhone 17 Pro in a case.
Such mockups are usually based on diagrams that only reveal the shape of the phones. Apple can still surprise with aspects such as the choice of materials, colors, or the texture of the casing.
The iPhone 17 series is expected to premiere in September. Earlier, in June, iOS 19 is to be presented, which will most likely also see a styling refresh.
