Nubia Z70 Ultra Photographer Edition Basic Specifications Revealed

Nubia Z70 Ultra Photographer Edition LAUNCH

Nubia Z70 Ultra Photographer Edition, a special edition phone with a leather back design and hidden camera, has just appeared on MIIT and TENAA. Although the listing on MIIT (model code NX737J) does not specify the product name, a reputable source from Weibo, @WhyLab, has confirmed that this is a special version of the Z70 Ultra.

Information from MIIT confirms that the device will support 5G connectivity, dual SIM, and run the Android operating system. However, beyond this basic information, MIIT has not revealed any other details.

Most likely, the Photographer Edition version will not have major hardware changes compared to the standard Z70 Ultra. Instead, Nubia will focus on upgrading the design, bringing a more unique and impressive look.

Last year's Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition made a strong impression with its two-tone design, combining vegan leather and glass on the back, crafted using a micro-etching process. Leaked images from TENAA show that the Z70 Ultra Photographer Edition will likely continue to use a leather back, promising a luxurious and premium design.

In terms of configuration, the Z70 Ultra is expected to be equipped with a 6.85-inch AMOLED screen, 1.5K resolution, and a hidden camera under the screen, with an ultra-thin bezel of only 1.25mm. The power of the device comes from Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor (Other sources say the chipset used will be Snapdragon 8 Elite), combined with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal memory. Powering the device is a large 6,150 mAh battery, supporting 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The camera system of the Z70 Ultra Photographer Edition is also very notable, including a 50MP main sensor with variable aperture (f/1.59–f/4.0), a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera that supports macro photography, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). In particular, the device also has a mechanical shutter button similar to that on an SLR camera, helping users focus and take photos more accurately and professionally.

With its appearance in the MIIT and TENAA databases, the official launch date of the Nubia Z70 Ultra Photographer Edition is probably not far away.
