Redmi Buds 5 Pro Announced: Featuring a "Rare" Coaxial Triple-Driver System for Premium Sound

Redmi has officially teased its latest audio product, the Redmi Buds 5 Pro, through its official channels. Set to launch this month alongside the new Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone, these new earbuds are poised to make a significant impact with a host of high-end audio features, headlined by what the company calls a "rare in its class" coaxial triple-driver system.

At the heart of the Redmi Buds 5 Pro's audio prowess is its sophisticated driver configuration. The official poster details a setup combining a 10mm piezoelectric ceramic tweeter with an 11mm titanium-plated dynamic driver. This coaxial design, powered by dual independent DACs, aims to deliver a balanced and detailed sound profile, with the ceramic tweeter handling crisp high frequencies and the large dynamic driver providing deep, powerful bass.

To further enhance the listening experience, the Redmi Buds 5 Pro will support both Spatial Audio and Dolby Audio. These technologies work in tandem to create a three-dimensional soundscape, making music, movies, and games feel more immersive and lifelike, placing the listener right in the center of the action.

Catering to audiophiles, the earbuds have secured Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification. They support the high-quality LHDC 5.0 codec, ensuring minimal data loss during wireless transmission. Additionally, they feature MIHC, Xiaomi's self-developed decoding technology, promising an optimized and high-fidelity audio stream.

They are also expected to introduce new intelligent connectivity features, enhancing their integration within the Xiaomi ecosystem.
