Xiaomi has officially announced on its X platform that the global version of its anticipated Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition will be branded as the "LEICA LEITZPHONE powered by Xiaomi." Based on previous leaks, the "LEICA LEITZPHONE powered by Xiaomi" will feature subtle yet distinct design differences compared to its Chinese domestic counterpart. The iconic Leica logo is positioned vertically on the global model. Additionally, the Xiaomi logo at the bottom of the device has been shifted from a horizontal placement on the left to a vertical orientation in the center.

The design modifications also extend to the color scheme. The global version sports a new champagne gold middle frame, offering a premium and unique aesthetic. Furthermore, official images released by Xiaomi suggest that a matte black frame variant will also be available, providing consumers with another sophisticated color option.

On the hardware front, the device's performance remains consistent with the Chinese version. A Geekbench listing for a device with the model number 25128PNA1G confirms that it is equipped with the same powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The benchmark also reveals that the phone will come with a substantial 16GB of RAM and run on the latest Android 16 operating system.
