Brilliant Labs, a startup in the tech industry, has recently launched its latest innovation—the Halo smart glasses. Priced at $299, these glasses are designed to seamlessly integrate with the multi-modal AI agent, Noa, offering users a natural conversational experience.

Key Features of Halo Smart Glasses

  • Display and Audio: Unlike Meta’s wearable devices that rely solely on audio cues, Halo features a 0.2-inch color microOLED display that projects a retro arcade-style interface into the wearer’s peripheral vision. The audio is delivered through bone conduction speakers in the temple, enhancing privacy.

  • Long Battery Life and Lightweight Design: Equipped with a low-power camera and an AI chip that includes a neural processing unit (NPU), the Halo glasses can last up to 14 hours on a single charge. Despite these advanced features, the glasses weigh just over 40 grams, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods.

  • Conversational AI: Noa, the AI agent, provides contextually relevant information based on the user’s environment, making interactions feel as natural as a conversation with a real person.
