REDMAGIC 10 Air Gets Official Launch Date - Design Revealed

A day after receiving its first teaser, the RedMagic 10 Air now has its official launch date confirmed via a post on social media. According to a publication shared this Tuesday, the ultra-thin smartphone should be presented on April 16 at an event that will be held at 3:00 pm.
In the new teaser, it is possible to see small aesthetic details of the smartphone, such as the presence of three independent rings for the cameras on the back. The RedMagic 10 Air will still have a metal construction, as you can see the antenna lines on its body, as well as a small red action button. The thickness of this smartphone could be 7.85 mm, while the weight is 205 grams.

In the field of technical specifications, the nubia phone with model number NX779J that has appeared in the TENAA database could be the upcoming RedMagic 10 Air. According to the TENAA listing, the device will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution (2,480 x 1,116 pixels).
Images of the Red Magic 10 Air are not available in the TENAA database. However, it looks like it will continue to feature an under-display camera like recent RedMagic phones. The certification reveals that it will have a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel dual-camera system on the back.

Inside, the Red Magic 10 Air is powered by a 3.3GHz chip, which appears to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The device will have 12GB/16GB/24GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster.
For now, the price remains uncertain, but other details may end up leaking over the next few days. In addition, this will be the third phone in the series, following the RedMagic 10 Pro and RedMagic 10 Pro+ duo that were launched in November 2024 in China.
