Sony Unveils New Chroma Collection for PS5 Slim and Controller
Sony has announced a new set of colors for the PlayStation 5 panels and DualSense controller. The collection, called Chroma Collection, is dedicated to the theme of the rainbow and includes three new shades.
Among them is Chroma Pearl, which, at first glance, looks like the original white color, but has a pearly glow with colors that subtly go from light pink to cream. Chroma Indigo is a bolder shade that is somewhere between a deep blue and a bright purple. And finally, Chroma Teal, which has several deep shades of green with a hint of blue.
The Chroma Collection will only be available as console cases for the updated Slim PlayStation 5 and will cost $65 per color. You can also get the new DualSense models, which feature new color combinations (but are otherwise functionally unchanged) for $80 each.
Pre-orders for the Chroma Collection begin on October 3rd. The Chroma Pearl and Chroma Indigo accessories will go on sale on November 7th, with Chroma Teal much later on January 23rd, 2025.
Limited Edition "Fortnite"
In addition to its exciting lineup of products, Sony has also announced a special edition of its DualSense wireless controller, specifically designed for the popular battle royale game "Fortnite".
This limited edition controller is priced at $84.99 USD and will be available for pre-order starting on October 3. The controller is expected to hit shelves globally on November 7.
