Samsung Unveils Special Edition Galaxy Z Flip7 for Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics

As an official worldwide partner of the International Olympic Committee, Samsung Electronics has officially announced a special edition Galaxy Z Flip7 for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. Starting January 30th, this exclusive device will be distributed to nearly 3,800 athletes from approximately 90 countries participating in the event.

 

 

 

The Olympic Edition Galaxy Z Flip7 showcases a stunning design, featuring a primary gold body. The lower half of the back panel and the accompanying magnetic phone case, which is adorned with a laurel wreath pattern, are finished in a vibrant blue. The color scheme is rich with symbolism: gold represents the athletes' relentless pursuit of excellence and the glory of reaching the podium, while blue creates a resonance between Samsung's brand identity, Italy's azure culture, and the overarching Olympic spirit.


 

Further enhancing the thematic experience, the device comes with a custom wallpaper inspired by the Winter Games. The design features colorful, flowing curves that emulate the graceful marks left by ice skates on the ice. In addition to the unique aesthetics, Samsung is providing athletes with a suite of convenient features, including electronic business cards, 100GB of 5G eSIM data, digital passes, and other essential services to support their stay.


 

Notably, the Milano Cortina 2026 Games will also mark the first time Samsung introduces its "Victory Selfie" initiative to the Winter Olympics. This celebratory feature will also be extended to include multi-person team events, allowing more athletes to capture their moments of triumph. This special edition device underscores Samsung's long-standing commitment to the Olympic movement, providing athletes with cutting-edge technology to enhance their experience at the games.
